Relocation Guide
Waterfront living, a walkable downtown, a serious arts scene, and sunshine most of the year. Here's a quick look at life in the Sunshine City.
St. Petersburg sits on a peninsula between Tampa Bay and the Gulf of Mexico, so the water is part of daily life almost everywhere you go. Unlike much of Florida, it has a real downtown with waterfront parks, independent restaurants, museums, and murals, much of it reachable on foot.
One of the city's most prestigious addresses, with waterfront estates, golf-course homes, and bay views.
Brick streets, mature trees, and historic architecture, an easy walk or bike ride to downtown.
Built for boaters, with deep-water canals and quick access to Tampa Bay.
Luxury condos and contemporary homes steps from dining, shopping, and the waterfront.
The Dalà Museum holds the largest collection of Salvador DalÃ's work outside Spain, and street art lines downtown. Beach Drive and Central Avenue are home to waterfront dining, local spots, and breweries, and the Saturday Morning Market is a neighborhood tradition. On the water, boating, paddleboarding, and fishing are year-round, and the Gulf beaches and Fort De Soto are close by.
Downtown is one of Florida's most walkable areas, and the SunRunner rapid bus connects it to St. Pete Beach. Tampa International (TPA) is about 30 minutes away with wide nonstop service, and St. Pete-Clearwater (PIE) is a smaller option with low-cost carriers.
